Attendance at the job fair is required. While preliminary interviews make take place virtually, final interviews will take place in-person in Mexico City from October 28-30.

Receiving a job offer from an employer and a nomination through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) does not guarantee approval for Permanent Residency in Canada. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will assess your admissibility to Canada and issue you an immigration visa. The SINP may revoke a nomination if you no longer meet the program requirements or if any false or misleading information was provided in your application.

Yes. Once you have been granted Permanent Residency, eligible accompanying dependent family members included in the application will also receive Permanent Residency. It is therefore important to include all eligible family members when submitting your application. Please note that any dependent family members not included in your original application cannot be added to your SINP nomination for Permanent Residency at a later date.
You will be required to provide a criminal record check, proof of English language proficiency and education credentials.

Most SINP streams have a minimum language requirement, which varies from a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 to 7, depending on the stream and the National Occupation Classification (NOC) under which applicants are applying. The following standardized tests are acceptable forms of meeting the language requirement:
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS);
  • Pearson PTE Core;
  • Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP-General);
  • Test d’évaluation de français (TEF); and,
  • Test de connaissance du français pour le Canada (TCF Canada).
Saskatchewan has some of the strongest laws in Canada to protect newcomers to the province. If you have been hired by an employer in Saskatchewan keep in mind that employers cannot;
  • Charge you money for job recruitment
  • Mislead you about job details (wages, duties, benefits, etc)
  • Take your passport, work permit, legal documents or personal property
  • Threaten you with deportation or legal action without cause
  • Contact your family or friends if you ask them not to
  • Force you to use a specific immigration consultant
