Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, packaging, and supplies for quality and accuracy |
Prepare and stage finished products for shipment according to customer orders and schedules |
Operate material handling equipment safely to load and unload shipments |
Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities, including inventory logs and shipping documentation |
Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality and food safety standards |
Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments |
Report discrepancies, damages, or nonconforming materials immediately to supervisors |
Comply with workplace health and safety policies, including proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment |
Participate in training related to food safety, equipment operation, and workplace safety |
