Duties/Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and fit materials using hand and power tools to meet project specifications.
• Ensure proper sealing, insulation, and weatherproofing of all exterior installations.
• Inspect, repair or replace damaged siding as needed.
• Set up and maintain ladders, scaffolding, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety standards at all times, including the use of fall protection and PPE.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to keep projects on track.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders as needed.
• Assist with general construction tasks and support other trades when required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of a trade certification program an asset;
• Minimum one year experience with siding installation;

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship;

• Strong listening, time-management, and communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as an essential part of a team;
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods of time, and safely climb ladders and scaffolding to work at heights;

• Ability to work at heights for long hours;
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45kg (100 lbs); and
• Strong communication skills in English both verbally and written
